The Australian Shepherd Club of Rogue Valley (ASCRV) is composed of individuals, couples and families who enjoy training, showing, working and playing with their dogs. Though the club is an affiliate of the Australian Shepherd Club of America, ownership of an Aussie is not required to be a member of ASCRV! We have club members sharing their lives with Dobermans, Labs, Shelties, Corgis, Rottweilers and other breeds. Mixed breeds are also welcome.
Club events include ASCA-sanctioned Obedience Trials, Rally Trials and Conformation Shows. Also offered are formal Show-n-Goes, events that provide handlers the opportunity to practice in a realistic setting without actually entering a competition.
The ASCRV Executive Board meets monthly. Day, date, time and location may change according to the club's activity schedule. Check the Meetings page on this website for details. All club members are welcome to attend. Several times during the year, members are invited to gather for a training session, workshop or seminar. Also offered are Show & Goes, events that provide handlers with the opportunity to practice in a realistic setting without actually entering a competitions. The traditional Christmas party is held in December.
It takes many people to plan, organize, coordinate and execute club events and activities. We encourage our members to help in any way that feels comfortable to them and fits into their busy lives. We especially need Stewards to assist the judges at trials and shows. Our knowledgeable staff would love to train you! All the better if you are already an experienced Steward! Being part of a “kennel club” is a great way to meet other dog lovers and for your dog to socialize with other dogs in safe, controlled and relaxed environments. Australian Shepherd Club of Rogue Valley would love to have you and your dog as part of the family! MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS
On or about December 15 of each year, membership renewal letters will go out to all current members. If you do not receive a renewal package by December 20, please email us. Members joining later in the year have their memberships pro-rated, but will still receive a membership renewal letter each year.
